For a very long time, self-made Billionaires have been trying to tell us the secret sauce to their success...intuition. Most people don't even know what that is, let alone how to access it for practical application. This eBook gives the reader the opportunity to understand and learn how to make it work for them through the former Top Secret military program that developed the "Remote Viewing Protocols." This formerly classified military, CIA and FBI program allowed the United States government the ability to locate nuclear weapons, track terrorist and uncover domestic spies, saving lives. Now this technology is available to the general public and Professional Remote Viewers are dominating business, Vegas and the markets.

¿No...? Pues descubra esta obra maestra.

El retrato de Dorian Grey: Una maravillosa novela escrita por Oscar Wilde en 1891, retocada por el autor en varias ocasiones (Spanish Edition), by Oscar Wilde

About the Author Oscar Wilde was born on October 16, 1854, to the Irish nationalist and writer Speranza Wilde and the doctor William Wilde. After graduating from Oxford in 1878, Wilde moved to London, where he became notorious for his sharp wit and flamboyant style of dress. Though he was publishing plays and poems throughout the 1880s, it wasn t until the late 1880s and early 1890s that his work started to be received positively. In 1895, Oscar Wilde was tried for homosexuality and was convicted and sentenced to two years in prison. Tragically, this downfall came at the height of his career, as his plays, An Ideal Husband "and The Importance of Being Earnest, "were playing to full houses in London. He was greatly weakened by the privations of prison life, and moved to Paris after his sentence. Wilde died in a hotel room, either of syphilis or complications from ear surgery, in Paris, on November 30, 1900.

. . . My dear child, the bromide of sodium (if that's what you call it) proved perfectly useless. I don't mean that it did me no good, but that I never had occasion to take the bottle out of my bag. It might have done wonders for me if I had needed it; but I didn't, simply because I have been a wonder myself. Will you believe that I have spent the whole voyage on deck, in the most animated conversation and exercise?

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An Adorable Romance By Lanise Brown Honestly, I thought this book was going to be a total bore. However, I was delightfully mistaken. What's the old adage? Don't judge a book by its cover. Well, that's one of the themes of The Point of View.Written by Elinor Glyn and published in 1913, The Point of View is entertaining even though the lovemaking in the book is considered mild by today's standards. Actually, I'm pretty sure that making love back in the early 1900's meant to court or woo someone. So, yeah, there's no sex in these pages, folks. The story opens in the Grand Hotel in Rome with a young woman named Stella. While Stella's at dinner with her aunt and uncle and they're discussing matters that, well, aren't particularly interesting, a peculiar man named Sasha Roumovski enters the room. Suddenly, everyone's eyes are on him and it's not because Sasha is attractive. It's quite the opposite. The story's premise is that Stella's hedged in by her domineering aunt, uncle, their maid, and her soon to be fiance, a priest by the name of Rev. Eustace Medlicott. Stella can't stand her betrothed and during her stay at the hotel, she's entranced by Sasha Roumovski, a man unlike anyone she's ever seen before. Her relatives call him ugly and distasteful. But Stella sees differently. Through her various meetings with Sasha, she changes her point of view about life and love.Stella is so naive and innocent that I couldn't help but laugh. Her rebellious streak is one reason I enjoyed this book. Stella eventually takes control of her life and refuses to be shoved around by others any longer. With the help of Sasha, she unleashes a side of herself that she never knew existed. There are a few down sides to the book, however. The reoccurring use of exclamations points throughout the book got on my nerves! Also, Gyln had a few instances of narrator intrusion at the start of the story that she seemed to avoid through the rest of the book, thankfully. Numerous adverbs on the dialogue tags bugged me constantly as well, but that's just my personal preference. In the end, I laughed and loved the last line of dialogue in the book. This story is too adorable. I wouldn't let its imperfections scare you away. If you want a great message and the possibility of taking a closer look at your own life, you'll probably enjoy the Point of View.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. interesting but drawn out at times By Silber This is a book that discusses how your surroundings influence your relationships. I wouldn't say this is Glyn's best work or worst work. It had some good lines in it though and a nice ending.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Best in class! By Biohazard This is my fifth book on mahjong, and this one is best in class. It's not full of fluff, but is a well organized book of rules. I like how it starts out with a very thorough lesson on the basic rules of mahjong, which it calls the core rules, and then each chapter after that is a different style of rules. Each style chapter begins with a section which highlights what's unique about that style, so if you're looking for a particular style, you can quickly gloss through them until you find one to your liking. And each style chapter seems to cover everything you need to know about that style to get playing, starting with a summary of the tiles you'll need, going through the unique style rules, and finishing with how to score for that style. The pictures and illustrations are nicely presented too. If I could only keep one of my books, it would be this one. Highly recommend.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. I love it. By Avila My friends play, but I didn't know how. It's great for beginners like me because it starts at the very beginning, so now I get it. My friends loved it too, because we read all the styles, and found a new one we like better than the one we used to play. Who knew there were so many ways to play!

As the little steamer entered the bay of Kettletoft in the Orkneys the beach at Sanday appeared so low that the houses almost seemed to be standing in the water; and to the big, dark man leaning over the rail of the upper deck the sight of them came with a pang of mingled pain and pleasure. The scene, to his eyes, had not changed. The houses, the low shore, the flat treeless country beyond, the vast open sky, all looked exactly the same as when he left the island thirty years ago to work for the Hudson Bay Company in distant N. W. Canada. A lad of eighteen then, he was now a man of forty-eight, old for his years, and this was the home-coming he had so often dreamed about in the lonely wilderness of trees where he had spent his life. Yet his grim face wore an anxious rather than a tender expression. The return was perhaps not quite as he had pictured it.

The Wolves of God, and Other Fey Stories, by Algernon Blackwood, Wilfred Wilson

About the Author Algernon Blackwood (1869-1951) was born into a well-to-do Kentish family. His parents, converts to a Calvinistic sect, led an austere life, ill-suited to their dreamy and sensitive son. During adolescence, he became fascinated by hypnotism and the supernatural and, on leaving university, studied Hindu philosophy and occultism. Later, he was to draw on these beliefs and experiences in his writing. Sent away to Canada at the age of twenty, his attempts at making a living were wholly unsuccessful and shortly after his return to England, he began to write. The Empty House and Other Ghost Stories, published in 1906, was followed by a series of psychic detective stories, featuring John Silence, 'physician extraordinary'. His reputation as one of the greatest exponents of supernatural fiction began to grow. Chiefly known for his ghost stories, Blackwood wrote in many different forms within the genre. His most personal works, however, are his 'mystical' novels, for example The Centaur, where he explores man's empathy with the forces of the universe. Blackwood also wrote children's fiction. A Prisoner in Fairyland was adapted into the play (later the musical), Starlight Express. Later in life, Blackwood turned to writing radio plays, and in 1947 he began a new career on BBC TV telling ghost stories. He received a knighthood in 1949.

"Your name is in a song, isn't it?" said Grace Waite, as she and her new playmate, Sylvia Fulton, walked down the pleasant street on their way to school. "Is it? Can you sing the song?" questioned Sylvia eagerly, her blue eyes shining at what promised to be such a delightful discovery. Grace nodded smilingly. She was a year older than Sylvia, nearly eleven years old, and felt that it was quite proper that she should be able to explain to Sylvia more about her name than Sylvia knew herself.

Early Civil War history comes alive By Lovin' Earth Great book about a young girl from the north living in Charleston at the beginning of the Civil War. Similar reading level and style to the Little House on the Prairie books. We are planning a trip to Charleston for a family vacation and I was looking for something to read to the children before the trip to help them understand and appreciate the history in Charleston. This book was perfect.

Excellent Read - You Definitely DON"T Get What You Paid For By Reviewer OK, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I saw this "free" book written in the 1800s. I wouldn't exactly characterize myself as a learned reader of literary classics. I had just received my Kindle and figured, what have I got to loose?I was absolutely pulled in by this story and had problems putting it down. It's a captivating mystical love story about an Egyptian princess. This was the first Haggard book that I've ever read and I will definitely download his more famous literary works to read in the future.

37 of 39 people found the following review helpful. A very well written historical fantasy By A Customer Rider haggard at his best. This amazing Fantasy story takes place in ancient Egypt. The hero, a prince, has to go through many extreme challenges to win the throne and the heart of his beloved women. The book gives a great insight on Egyptian religions and culture. It is a great book for Egyption culture fans, adventure and fantasy lovers, and for anyone else too...

No race of men, scarcely an individual, is so devoid of intelligence as not to recognize power. Few gifts are more courted. Power is almost as varied as character, and the kind of power most desired or appreciated is a good measure of character. The pre-eminence furnished by thew and muscle is most generally recognized; but, as men reach levels above the animal, other qualities take the lead. It is seen that the immaterial spirit wins the greater triumphs,—that the brainless giant, compared with the dwarf of trained intelligence, can accomplish little. The scale runs on into the moral qualities, until at last humanity has given its sanction to the Divine words, "Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant."

8 of 9 people found the following review helpful. Vintage 1885 hardcover edition By Kit This pretty vintage pre-1900 historical novel was written by Edward Payson Roe and published by Dodd, Mead and Company in New York in 1985. It has a pretty cover and a frontispiece illustration. It tells the story of a girl who finds success and accomplishment even though she's not particularly pretty. The setting is during the civil war, culminating in 1863, and touches the New York Draft Riots of 1863, and the Battle of Gettysburg. It seems historically interesting and accurate as well as a good story.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Only historical parts good, but worth the rest By Maggie Jarpey I was disappointed in the story of the "belle" and the other characters. I expected better from having read two other books by this author, whom I recently discovered. But the historical parts about the New York City Draft Riots and about the Civil War goings-on were well worth reading. They were fascinating to me. The author was an eyewitness of these events, and he wrote them so vividly that I felt I was experiencing them.Plus, there were revelations into many of the feelings of many of the people of both sides of the Civil War that were very interesting (Susan Warner did this well also in her Daisy series of books). The riots were riveting and exhausting to read. They were so real and gave such a picture of what human beings are capable of in a mob. Real persons of the era were named and applauded in their roles of combating the mob. So I think this book is an excellent source of historical knowledge. But the main story about the "belle," her father, and her suitors was oddly lacking in anything that the Christian reader would be looking for, plus being, in my opinion, unrealistic and often downright boring--nothing like the relationships in Barriers Burned Away and What Can She Do? Those were excellent stories, combining great historical information with interesting characters, plot, and spiritual insights for the Christian reader.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It hurts me to give a book by Edward Roe only 3 stars By Maryann Anderson I am a huge fan of Edward Roe's books. I have read A Young Girl's Wooing, Without a Home, Driven Back to Eden and He Fell in Love With His Wife and I absolutely loved all of them. Imagine my dismay when I had to PLOD my way through An Original Belle. I just did not like Marian and I hated how rude she was to Merwyn because he did not go fight in the Civil War. She kept speculating on why he was conducting business pretty much as usual when so many young men his age had gone off to war. He actually had a good reason not to fight but I didn't see that his reason was any of Marian's business. In fact, I didn't see that his not fighting was a whole lot of her business. She would be very rude to him and basically call him a coward then the next time she saw him she would apologize but then insult him again in the same conversation. This happened over and over and finally I lost all patience with her and could not enjoy the book. Also, the very thing that made some reviewers LOVE this book, i.e. all the descriptions of the battles as they took place, is one of the things I did NOT like about the book. It reminded me of some of the battle scenes in Margaret Mitchell's Gone With The Wind...so much so that I wondered if maybe Roe was guilty of a little plagiarism but then I did a little searching online and saw that Roe was born in1838 and died in 1888 while Mitchell was born in 1900 and died in 1949. Therefore, despite the great similarity between their works, Roe could not be guilty of plagiarism. Wait a minute..You don't reckon that Mitchell... Nah, never mind.

In one of the beautiful bays on the coast of Fairy Land, a party of Fairies was assembled on a lovely evening in July. There are many beautiful bays on the coast of England, and there is one especially, my dear little readers, which you and I know of, where a long line of grand old rocks stretches far into the sea on the left-hand extremity, while in the distance to the right a warning lighthouse with its changing lights gives an almost solemn beauty to the scene; for one cannot help thinking, at the sight of it, of the poor storm-driven mariner, whom even that friendly light may fail to save from a sad and sudden death.

31 of 33 people found the following review helpful. Still Stands Out By JPS I have enjoyed all of the free fairy-tale type stories available for the Kindle. I have read many of them in the last few months, including this one. A few weeks after finishing this book, it still stands out as one of my favorites. After seeing that not very many readers have reviewed this book, I felt compelled to share my opinion. If you like to read fairy-tale type stories for children (Grimm's fairy tales and the like), then this book is highly recommended.I also thought the themes of the stories were pretty original, when compared with other, older fairy-tales. The reader isn't always 100% sure how the story would turn out.

19 of 26 people found the following review helpful. Not Impressed By Amazon Customer If what you are looking for is a book of overly-stereotypical fairy tales involving florid prose, impossibly eloquent children, simplistic moral messages and occasional digressions into the philosophy of time and wishes, then this is the book for you. Otherwise I'd suggest saving your time and reading something more accessible.Stories included are:The Fairy Godmothers: Five fairy godmothers get together for a philosophical discussion of the merits and problems of various fairy-gifts they can bestow upon the newborn. Unable to conclude anything useful from their debate, the fairies decide to experiment on their godchildren to see what gift brings the most happiness to humans.Joachim the Mimic: Joachim finds a Genie on the beach and wishes to be able to imitate everything that is good in the world. The Genie says that the best he can do is give Joachim the power of imitation, and Joachim must learn for himself what is good and what is not.Darkness and Light: A family with a sea-castle and fairy ancestry also has a son who is scared of the dark. Although his parents wish that their fairy relative would help their son get over his fear, the son is blinded by a stray piece of sand and must learn to live entirely in the dark. The Love of God: I didn't read this one because I'd had all I could stand of the writing style and clever, philosophical children. (I may have cried "for the love of God! do not make me read another one!" upon seeing it.)

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Slightly better. By Jennifer Fisher I enjoyed the stories better in this one than I did in the last fairy tale book I ordered. I liked the Harry Potter references in the first one. (One of the characters being named Hermione and the whole Philosopher's Stone bit.) I also liked how in the second story, the blind boy got his sight back. The other 2 stories were forgettable.

It may be well to state that the incident of the "Thing that bites" recorded in this tale is not an effort of the imagination. On the contrary, it is "plagiarized." Mandara, a well-known chief on the east coast of Africa, has such an article, and uses it. In the same way the wicked conduct attributed to Wambe is not without a precedent. T'Chaka, the Zulu Napoleon, never allowed a child of his to live. Indeed he went further, for on discovering that his mother, Unandi, was bringing up one of his sons in secret, like Nero he killed her, and with his own hand.

The present work completes a series of fictitious narratives, intended to illustrate the manners of Scotland at three different periods. Waverley embraced the age of our fathers, Guy Mannering that of our own youth, and the Antiquary refers to the last ten years of the eighteenth century. I have, in the two last narratives especially, sought my principal personages in the class of society who are the last to feel the influence of that general polish which assimilates to each other the manners of different nations. Among the same class I have placed some of the scenes in which I have endeavoured to illustrate the operation of the higher and more violent passions; both because the lower orders are less restrained by the habit of suppressing their feelings, and because I agree, with my friend Wordsworth, that they seldom fail to express them in the strongest and most powerful language.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. fine Old Book By C. Brand The Antiquary is probably my favorite book, although Rob Roy and Pride & Prejudice come close. The Antiquary himself, Jonathan Oldbuck, is a splendid character, and Edie Ochiltree, the aged Blue Gown (licensed beggar) is outstandingly well portrayed. I also think the baronet is well drawn: his folly is credible, given the convincing character of the villain, Dosterswivel (based, I believe, on Count Rumford).
