I had tears of laughter running down my face lots of times reading it. It's AMAZING! So many laughs-BRILLIANT! By Julie Haigh One of best things I ever did was to download 'The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard' (Book 1 in the series) by Robert Bryndza when it was on free promo in the amazon top 100 Free Bestsellers-I've now read them all! This one was fab, fab, fab-as always, and that was right from the word go. I love the diary format, it's great to see it again. The scenes in the book take place at Christmas 1992, from Dec 14th to Christmas Day. I love the brilliant eye-catching cover; it's colourful, snappy and looks really good. I didn't have to wait very long for a chuckle-just about 10 lines into it and there it was! Rosencrantz's poem is an absolute scream! The book is so well-observed with expert descriptions of his characters. As well as the comedy, this is wonderfully nostalgic-I remember many happy hours watching Thunderbirds-and Blue Peter! Coco's mother-in-law, Ethel, is priceless! She just tells it like it is! I love how Ethel's accent is expressed, she's so funny. The story is set when Coco's son is four years old, it's Christmas and we have the frantic rush and hilarious farce to obtain that elusive and most desirable Christmas gift, the top toy of that year. I love Ethel's expressions and sayings, this book is hugely enjoyable! Hilarious images are created as you read. Laugh after laugh after laugh. It's absolutely brimming with Christmas cheer, laughs galore-perfect for any time of year though! As with his previous Christmas Novella, it's a shortish book, approx 140 pages-I always wonder how he manages to pack SO MUCH into a little book such as this-it's jam-packed! It continued to be absolutely hilarious-can I give this ten stars?!!! I had tears of laughter running down my face lots of times reading it. It's AMAZING! So many laughs-BRILLIANT!

By Anima Giraldez Oh, how I have missed the humor of Coco and her family. The craziness of Christmas shopping has gotten every parent worked up and stressed over finding the right toy. I remember by Uncle joining the crazies when Cabbage Patch Kids were the rage. What will parents do for that toy? Coco does it all from buying it in random places, waiting in line, and getting crafty. If you know Coco you know nothing will happen easily and she struggles to be the awesome mom and get the fabulous toy. If you've read the other books you will identify all the characters. Rosencrantz is only four and Coco is married to Daniel, and of course Ethel is a thorn in her side. We get to see the early years of the Pinchard marriage and how she meets Marika. If you are a new reader, no worries the story is fun and silly anyway. Then you can enjoy the rest of the books and have insight to everyone. Thank you Robert for letting me have an early read, always a treat!

(doesn't have to be in order) By Dianne I can’t remember the last time I laughed this much reading a story! (It must have been the last Coco story I read)! It was so much fun to go back in time and read about the whole family together and to find out how Coco and Marika became friends. Rosencrantz is a little boy and he has sent a letter to Santa telling him that he wants a certain toy. As a parent, we all understand the need to fulfill our child’s Christmas wish. As usual Coco tries her hardest but continually fails. You will have so much fun reading about her escapades. This is a novella and you can easily read it in one afternoon (I did). You can read this as your first Coco book or at any point in between. I don’t feel that it is necessary to read this book in the order of publication as it is a look back in time and it doesn’t have any spoilers contained in it. I can’t wait for the next Coco adventure!
