I got the audiobook version but I am going to order the paperback version today because there were so many great ideas that I want to see and work on. This is my first marketing book that I have read or listened to, so I was so relieved that it was not textbook theory mumble jumble. I like my learning material to be short, sweet and "real world" effective and that is what I got from this book. I didn't want a book that would take me weeks to read and hope that I can put the concepts together and get started. I need marketing training material that is easy to understand and implement. I need to learn marketing fast because I am behind the power curve! This 2 hours and 15 min book gave me a good jumpstart to my marketing learning goal. Bottom line, Mind Capture gave me a lot of ideas and help me think outside of the box to find more creative ways to market my business.

Davidson As a fellow alum of Western Michigan University and business practitioner, I figured it would be worth reading this book. Given my experience in marketing and sales, the material itself was not incredibly new to me. However, I appreciate the no-nonsense approach that Tony takes to approaching the content of MIND CAPTURE.That said, I feel that there was one significant flaw that severely tainted my reading experience. The discussion of "friendly competition" as a "huge lie" is inconsistent with economic game theory (it assumes a zero-sum game in a world where that is not generally the case). Indeed, it is also incompatible with the idea of having a team approach to sales - if each person is not able to share the market of customers with other businesses, how are they supposed to share within their own sales team?Overall, I found this read to be consistent with many other books on sales. It is a good starter for someone completely new to sales and looking for some quick tips to apply immediately. This is not a book, however, that is likely to advance a seasoned salesperson in his or her career.
